One of the Nation’s leading experts in the clinical diagnostic laboratory and pathology sectors, Dennis Weissman is President of Dennis Weissman & Associates, LLC. He founded Washington G-2 Reports in 1979, a leading national news and information company that provides strategic market and policy intelligence to the clinical diagnostic industry. Dennis continues to serve as a senior consultant to G2 Reports.

Dennis is also Senior Advisor to England & Company, a Washington, DC-based merchant bank where he provides strategic advise as the firm expands its activity in the health care industry. Recently, England & Company has completed several transactions in the laboratory industry, including recapitalization of Pathology, Inc. and DCL Medical Laboratories and the acquisition of DrugScan, Inc. and DSI Medical Laboratories.

Established in 2005, Dennis Weissman & Associates provides merger & acquisition advisory services to both buyers and sellers of diagnostic companies. It also furnishes strategic market intelligence & organizational support as well as public policy & trends assessments for clinical diagnostic laboratories and clinical and anatomic pathology organizations and related interests.

Dennis is a well-known speaker before healthcare professional and trade groups nationwide. He serves on the Board of Directors of the National Cervical Cancer Coalition and is a member of the Health Advisory Committee, School of Business Administration at Marymount University in Arlington, VA.

Prior to forming G-2 Reports, Dennis headed the Washington Office for the American Society for Medical Technology (now ASCLS) and prior to that served as special assistant to the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Health in the Department of Health, Education & Welfare. After completing a tour of duty with the U.S. Army at the Pentagon where he worked in White House & congressional liaison, Dennis began his first civilian position in the Nation’s Capital as a government affairs executive with the American Optometric Association. Before his military service, he worked as Director of Men’s Residence Halls at Monmouth College in Monmouth, IL.

Dennis holds a BA degree in political science from the State University of New York at Buffalo and an MS degree in counseling and higher education administration from Indiana University at Bloomington.
